Star and Crescent Earrings (Star Up)

These earrings are a different take on the classic donut earrings. Originally a symbol of the Ottoman Empire, the star and crescent has come to be a traditional symbol of Islam. Pictured here with the star pointing out of the crescent (as found on the Algerian and Pakistani flags, for example), these earrings are also available with the star pointing into the crescent.
